Nuh clash: 8 held from Alwar, Bharatpur; Bittu Bajrangi nabbed
A group of over 500 men held a march in Pataudi Friday and submitted a representation to the SDM to be sent to the Prime Minister, the governor, and the CM, seeking action against those accused in Nuh violence.

At least eight people have been arrested from Bharatpur and Alwar in connection with the violence in Nuh, following the Brij Mandal Yatra taken out by the VHP and Bajrang Dal on July 31, police said Friday.
According to Nuh SP Varun Singla, who was later relieved of his charge, “The arrested men are from Rajasthan’s Bharatpur and Alwar. We will be taking action against more people from these districts. They were nabbed after their involvement was found in the violence through social media posts, call details records, hard drive data, videos etc.”
On Friday, the Haryana government effected an overhaul in the district transferring Singla to Bhiwani and replacing him with IPS officer Narendra Bijarniya.
Bijarniya said a crowd of 40-50 people assembled on the streets at least an hour before the yatra.
Meanwhile, Bajrang Dal member from Faridabad Bittu Bajrangi was arrested in connection with a video which was posted on the morning of July 31, police said, adding that he was later released on bail.
An FIR was registered under one IPC section — deliberate and malicious acts, intended to outrage religious feelings of any class by insulting its religion or religious beliefs — at Dabua police station.
According to SHO Shree Bhagwan, “An FIR was filed taking cognizance of his video.”
As per the FIR, registered on the complaint of SI Satish Kumar, “Through social media, Bittu Bajrangi has made a video by coming live on Facebook (and made derogatory comments against a particular community)… To create religious frenzy, he is instigating and provoking a specific community by gathering in Pali village.”
On another video going viral on social media, which purportedly showed a man from the yatra opening fire, aimed at the mountain ranges, from inside Nalhar Mahadev Mandir, Singla had said earlier in the day that they have seen it and action will be taken after a probe.
Police have also arrested a man, Sajid, following a post on Facebook for allegedly hurting religious sentiments, disturbing social harmony, violating law and order, and trying to spread anarchy by disobeying government orders.
The accused, who is from Uttar Pradesh, stays in NIT, Faridabad, where he runs a salon. Other accused in the case are being identified and will be caught soon, said police.
