Non-cloneable IDs for Delhi Police

To counter the problem of fake ID cards,the Delhi Police has provided non-cloneable IDs to its over 75,000 personnel. The IDs,devised by Bilcare Technology,a division of Pune-based Bilcare,cannot be duplicated and hence ensures authenticity. Earlier,policemen were issued paper identity cards that were prone to duplication and security breaches.

“This nanotechnology-based system is a revolutionary development in security systems. Our aim is to provide absolute,comprehensive and foolproof anti-counterfeiting solutions,” said Manoj Arora,Global CIO,Bilcare research.
