Noida dhaba owner, waiter stabbed over delay in serving salad
The incident took place at around 10 pm on Thursday at ‘Vishal Hotel’ in Achchheja in Badalpur police station area, said officials. The two accused have been identified as Amit Kumar and Sanjay Singh.

The accused also allegedly abused them and threatened to kill them. Badalpur SHO Amresh Singh said that both the men were arrested immediately after receiving the complaint. A waiter and the owner of a dhaba in Greater Noida were allegedly stabbed with a knife by two customers after there was a slight delay in serving salad, said police. Both the accused have been arrested.

Rajpal Nagar, the dhaba owner, said that Amit and Sanjay came to the roadside eatery in an inebriated state. “After they asked for a side of salad, the waiter got a bit late. Impatient, they took a knife and stabbed him,” he claimed. “I rushed to save him, but then they attacked me with the same knife. I received stitches in my hand,” he added. The waiter is also recovering after suffering injuries.
