Neighbours fight over domestication of goats on road in North East Delhi, police and paramilitary personnel deployed
The Delhi Police arrested a man and began a search for other people involved in the fight in the Khajoori Khas area.

Tension gripped a locality in the Khajoori Khas area of Northeast Delhi after two neighbours fought over the domestication of goats on the road outside their houses on Wednesday night, the police said Thursday.
The incident occurred at Gali 30, Futa Road, Khajoori Khas, around 9.30 pm. In anticipation of clashes in the area, several police and paramilitary personnel were deployed.
During the inquiry, it was found that the complainant, Manoj Dhama, had an altercation with one Sarvar, 27, over the domestication of goats on the road, the police said in a statement.
“Dhama again objected to Sarvar and asked him to remove the animals from the road. In response, Sarvar became infuriated, called five to six people, and attacked Dhama, his family members, and other residents who came to intervene,” the police added.
The police filed a case under relevant provisions at the Khajuri Khas police station based on Dhama’s complaint and arrested Sarvar. Multiple teams have been deployed to trace and arrest the other people involved in the fight, the police said.
A police officer said that, upon further inquiry, it came to light that both parties were involved in the second-hand car sale and purchase business. They are also probing the business rivalry angle.
People are advised not to pay heed to any speculation and avoid spreading rumours, an officer said.
