Motorcyclist crushed,protesters torch bus

Protests broke out in Karawal Nagar,Northwest Delhi,after a 23-year-old man was crushed by a speeding UP Roadways bus on Wednesday. Angry protesters torched the bus and held up traffic.

Police said Pushpendra alias Sanju was on his way to work at 6 am,when the bus hit his motorcycle from behind. Pushpendra suffered head injuries and was declared dead on arrival at GTB Hospital. Residents caught the bus driver,Kalicharan,and the police were informed.

In another case,two men were crushed near Kashmere Gate flyover.
