Delhiites woke up to heavy rains on Saturday,bringing the temperatures down significantly. The day remained mostly cloudy,with the maximum temperature resting at a pleasant 29.6 degrees Celsius,four notches below normal. The minimum temperature was recorded at 24 degrees Celsius,three notches below normal.

Over the first half of the day,the Capital recorded approximately 62.5mm of rain. So far,the city has received a total 242.2 mm of rains after the monsoon touched the Capital on July 5. The weatherman said Sunday too is expected to remain generally cloudy with a few spells of rain and thundershowers. The maximum and minimum temperatures tomorrow too with be around 31 and 25 degrees Celsius.
