Mentally challenged woman raped

A 36-year-old mentally challenged woman was allegedly raped in DLF Phase-3,police said.

A 36-year-old mentally challenged woman was allegedly raped in DLF Phase-3,police said. A case was registered late Saturday night. The accused is yet to be arrested. Police said a week ago,when she was out on evening walk,the accused took her to the house where he was working and raped her. Police said medical examination confirmed rape.

Youth held for rape

A 21-year-old engineering student was arrested by Delhi Police on Sunday on charges of abducting and raping a minor in South Delhis Saket area. The accused,identified as Mukesh,allegedly laced the victims beverage with sedatives. Medical examination has confirmed rape,police said. The victim met the accused on a social networking site and went to meet him. They went to a club in Saket, the officer said.

Girl found dead

The body of a 13-year-old girl was found near a shanty in Outer Delhis Shahbad Dairy area on Saturday night. The girls family members told police that they suspected the involvement of her cousin,who has been missing since the incident. Police have ruled out sexual assault and said she was strangled to death. In another incident,a 12-year-old boy was arrested for sexually abusing his four-year-old cousin in Northeast Delhis Usmanpur area on Saturday evening.
