IAF win 6-1 in DSA clubs league tie

Indian Air Force (New Delhi) scored a comprehensive 6-1 win over Garhwal Diamond FC in group-I of A division league match of DLF-ONGC-SAIL-DSA annual clubs league championship at Ambedkar Stadium on Monday.

M Negi netted the first one in the fourth minute and V Frahed doubled the lead in the 11th mintue; Stephen made it 3-0 four minutes later. Frahed struck once again in the 25th mintue as IAF led 4-0 at half-time.

Gahwal FC reduced the margin in the second half but S Sarwan and K P al addeded one goal each in the 46th and 55th mintues to complete the drubbing. With this victory,IAF have 6 points from 2 matches while Garhwal Diamond are yet to open their account.

In another match,Cosmos FC played a goalless draw with Dwarka FC to share one point each. Both teams have a point each from two games.

NR win in CM Cup
Northern Railways beat Delhi Administration 3-0 in a senior division league match of the Chief Ministers Cup. For Railways,nippy outside-left Gaimlung Kamei scored two goals the in third and 27th minutes while Lalit Rawat struck in the 14th mintue. The railmen have 6 points from 2 matches while Delhi Administration is still without a point.

Earlier,Food Corporation of India (HQ) were held to a 1-1 draw by Central Secretariat in the same tournament. Rajesh Rawat netted the opening goal in the 16th minute while FCIs Than Riakaps restored parity on the stroke of half-time.
