The Delhi High Court refused to stay the phasing out of Blueline buses from the Capital on Wednesday.
A Bench,headed by Justice A K Sikri,turned down a petition from the Blueline Bus Operators Association,which pleaded that extension of permits be granted to the Blueline buses that were to be taken off the roads from Wednesday.
Senior advocate Arvind Nigam,appearing for the association,submitted at the end of the days proceedings that the permit be extended. However,the plea was was turned down by the court Bench.
