Woman found dead with bullet wounds in Delhi’s GTB Enclave

The Delhi Police said they are trying to identify the woman who was found dead in the Shahdara area.

A woman, approximately 20 years old, was found dead with bullet wounds near a park in the GTB Enclave area in Delhi’s Shahdara late Monday.

The Delhi Police said they suspect personal enmity behind the murder of the woman, who is yet to be identified, and that a probe was underway from all possible angles. The police added that they are checking CCTV cameras to know the sequence of the incident.

Neha Yadav, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (Shahdara), said they received a PCR call Monday night regarding a woman lying with bullet injuries.

“Immediately, the local police reached the spot and found a lady aged about 20 years lying dead on a service road MIG flat near Sunder Nagari,” Yadav said adding that the team found two bullet injuries on the body.

Yadav said efforts are being made to identify the deceased.
