Fashion can occasionally turn charitable. Creations by 21 Indian designers, including Ranna Gill,Tarun Tahiliani,Varun Bahl,Rohit Bal,Rajesh Pratap and Manish Arora, will be on sale at a fundraiser at DLF Emporio on July 24,and the proceeds will go to an educational project by the NGO Khushii. Taking a shy turn on the ramp will be the fashion strongman Sunil Sethi, along with former cricketer Kapil Dev who is also the chairman of Khushii, restaurateur

AD Singh, socialites Feroz Gujral,Vandana Luthra,Priya Chatwal and Tanisha Mohan. Reema and Vidhusha, wives of designers Shantanu and Nikhil Mehra, would be sporting creations of their husbands and buying them too. Designer Leena Singh, who came up with the concept, said,“That fashion designers are mostly associated with glamour is not true. We also think about the society and try to contribute in different ways. As a designer, all I could do was communicate my vision to other designers who were keen to chip in for the show. Each designer has made two outfits.”
