A Candle-lit terrace,jazz tunes and fashion talk — this is how Delhi’s fashion elite spent their Sunday evening,as American designer Diane von Furstenberg,the creator of the wrap dress,visited the city during her first trip to India. Furstenberg has been in India for the last few days to participate in a luxury conference. The soiree was held at Olive at the Qutub and hosted by sisters Priya and Charu Sachdev,owners of the Kitsch store,that also stocks DVF designs at their Mumbai and Delhi outlets . The event was attended by interior designer Sumant Jayakrishnan,socialite Ramola Bachchan,former model Fleur Xavier,stylist Pernia Qureshi,and restaurateur AD Singh with wife Sabina. Furstenberg wore a loose fit,knee-length black and white dress at the dinner but it was Singh who stole the show in a green kurta and white patiala salwar.
