The Delhi government’s odd-even scheme faces the real test today as all offices and Delhi’s giant services sector returned to work on Monday. While the first two days witnessed a fair share of vehicles off the roads and Delhi largely complied with the policy, the first day of a working week will have all eyes on the Delhi government.

The Delhi government worked through the weekend to try and anticipate all problems and prepare contingencies. Over two days, the traffic police and enforcement teams booked 567 errant cars and 348 autos for refusing to ply.
