Delhi L-G distributes appointment letters to 629 govt employees
Following the event at Vigyan Bhawan, the L-G’s office said over 17,000 permanent recruitments had been made by the Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board in the last two years.
Delhi Lieutenant Governor (L-G) Vinai Kumar Saxena Delhi Lieutenant Governor (L-G) Vinai Kumar Saxena Friday distributed letters of appointment to 629 government employees, including 27 doctors, to be posted in various Delhi government departments and the Delhi Development Authority.
Following the event at Vigyan Bhawan, the L-G’s office said over 17,000 permanent recruitments had been made by the Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board in the last two years and the number of government employees inducted over the two years following Saxena’s taking over exceeds the total appointments made in the last decade.
“Having expedited the recruitment process, DSSSB is expected to fill another 20,000 government vacancies by March next year, significantly reducing the huge vacancies in Delhi Govt departments. We are committed to Hon’ble PM’s emphasis on ending adhocism in govt jobs & creating opportunities for eligible candidates in a free, fair & transparent manner” Saxena said in a related post on X.
