When a famous crime novelist’s writings begin to resemble real-life incidents,a young woman becomes suspicious. She begins to dig,and soon discovers a world of darkness and danger. The story by Swiss writer Friedrich Dürrenmatt has been adapted into a play in Hindi and English titled Incident at Twilight, to be staged at Sammukh,on the National School of Drama campus, today. Directed by Suraj Bharadwaj, the play comprises Delhi actors Nalini Joshi and Teekam Joshi in the cast. “We’ve packed the play with dialogues and kept it fast-paced and light,” says Nalini, adding that the action lasts less than a hour. The suspense hinges on the final meeting between the writer, clad in his fashionable quilted dressing gown, and the disheveled young woman.
