Through the Looking Glass

IN Srila Mookherjee’s glass exhibition,titled “Embellished Glass”,she works with a range of bottles,vases,bowls and platters — all possessing thin,delicate qualities. Colors vary from lilac,blue and grey,to bright magenta and smoky citrus. The exhibition is on at the Art Heritage Gallery,Triveni Kala Sangam,till September 21,11 am to 7 pm.

Directed by his son Rajeev Chaurasia,Bansuri Guru is a documentary by the Films Division on the life and music of flautist Hariprasad Chaurasia. The film is shot in Mumbai,Bhubaneswar and the Netherlands. It will be screened at the NCPA on August 23.
