Ten children were injured when a goods carrier,which was speeding on the wrong lane,rammed their school bus in Southwest Delhi’s Chawla area on Tuesday morning,police said.

New Delhi: Ten children were injured when a goods carrier,which was speeding on the wrong lane,rammed their school bus in Southwest Delhi’s Chawla area on Tuesday morning,police said. The truck,with a Rajasthan registration number,collided head-on with the school bus,due to the fog,they added. “Around 7.15 am,the school bus of Rao Mohar Singh School was on the Khera Road near the Harbans Singh farmhouse. The driver of the overloaded truck failed to spot the oncoming bus and crashed into it,” said Sharad Aggarwal,DCP (Southwest). The injured students were rushed to a private hospital. The police are looking for the truck driver,who is on the run.
