Carpenter identifies accused in Dec 16 gangrape case during robbery trial

A carpenter identified the four accused in the December 16 gangrape case in a separate trial under charges of robbery at a city court on Thursday.

Identifying each of the accused,the witness told the court that they had misled him into the bus on December 16,robbed and assaulted him before throwing him off the moving bus. He also told the court that along with the four accused,two others had participated in the assault and robbery.

The witness had earlier identified the accused during the gangrape trial and deposed in the Juvenile Justice Board against the minor held guilty in the gangrape.
