The incident came to light after a railway police officer spotted the body and made a PCR call.The body of a woman was discovered near Adarsh Nagar railway station on Sunday, police said, adding that she is yet to be identified.
Officers stated that the woman, aged between 40 and 45, was found in bushes close to the station. According to the police, multiple injuries caused by a sharp object were visible on her face and head. A pair of men’s slippers was also found near the body, officers said.
