Olympic medallists Sushil Kumar and Yogeshwar Dutt will take part in a run on Sunday organised by election officials.

Olympic medallists Sushil Kumar and Yogeshwar Dutt will take part in a run on Sunday organised by election officials as part of their efforts to ensure an increase in voter turnout for the Assembly polls. Chief Electoral Officer Vijay Dev will also be among those taking part in the marathon scheduled to begin at 7 am on Sunday from the District Park,Prashant Vihar.

Goel campaigns in Lodhi Gardens

Delhi BJP chief Vijay Goel took a round of Lodhi Gardens on Saturday to interact with the members of Saturday and Sunday clubs to promote his partys vision for the city. Goel discussed issues of rising prices of essential commodities,corruption,governance and safety of women.

Slogan-writing contest held at North Campus

A slogan-writing competition was organised by North District Election Office in the North Campus as part of its efforts to increase the voter turnout for the Assembly polls. Students,teachers and principals of major DU colleges,including Kirori Mal,Hindu,Hans Raj,Miranda House and SRCC extended their support in organising the competition, an EC official said. Prizes will be given for the best slogan and tagline,officials said.
