Never mind if it’s unlikely that sentiments allow fashionistas to indulge in a Judith Leiber handbag or clutch,it’s a cue of sorts for designer Suneet Varma to tie up with the super luxurious accessory brand. On Friday afternoon,Delhi’s ladies,and professed Leiber fans got together to laud Varma over lunch at the Emporio Mall. From entrepreneur Charu Sachdev and Priya Chatwal to socialites Tanisha Mohan,Shabnam Singhal,and Divya Burman,from restaurateur Ramola Bachchan to designer Gauri Karan— the abbreviated showcase saw a full house. Incidentally,the Suneet Varma for Judith Leiber collection will first have a limited release as part of their Resort 2009 collection before debuting in spring 2010 in its entirety.
