Dairy farm owner stabbed to death
New Delhi: A 37-year-old dairy farm owner,identified as Subhash,was allegedly stabbed to death by a gang in Vasant Kunj on Wednesday morning. Police said that Raju,the brother of the deceased,was with him at the time of incident and has identified the alleged gangleader as one Sunder. The murder reportedly stemmed from a heated argument that the accused had with the victim at a marriage function on Monday. The police are further investigating the case.

Private firm clerk robbed of Rs 1.6 lakh
New Delhi: A clerk with a private company at New Delhi House was robbed outside the American Centre while he was on his way back from a bank on Monday afternoon. Identifying the victim as Paramjit Singh Bansal (33),the police said he was returning from Jeevan Prakash building with an envelope containing Rs 1,60,000 in cash around 12 pm when a miscreant snatched it from his hand and fled.

Delhi tourist alleges rape at Shimla hotel
Shimla: A Delhi tourist who had gone to Shimla with her husband alleged that she was raped by the receptionist of Hotel Rashik,situated on Cart Road,on December 6. As per the FIR,the incident had occurred while her husband,Than Singh,had gone to a court in Shimla for personal work. The police have arrested the accused,identified as Raj Kumar.

Eight injured in East Delhi bus collision
New Delhi: Eight passengers,including two women,were injured on Wednesday morning when a DTC bus collided with a Blueline bus in East Delhi,police said. The incident took place in Vivek Vihar around 9 pm,while the buses were trying to overtake each other. Two women,Durga and Sushila,were critically injured in the accident.
