Indian Express staffer Sehgal dies at 44

New Delhi: Anup Sehgal,who worked with the online section of The Indian Express,died on Monday after a brief illness. He was 44. Sehgal had joined the media organisation in July 1990 as Personal Assistant in the Editorial section. He leaves behind his wife and two daughters.

DTU‘s first admission list

New Delhi: The Delhi Technological University (DTU) declared its first list of admission for its 15 B Tech programmes in engineering and technology disciplines on Tuesday. The second list of admissions will be announced on July 15,2011. This year,the university had adopted an online admission system to provide an user-friendly,transparent and secure system of admission. As many as 10,827 candidates registered for online counselling. Highest Metro ridership

New Delhi: The Delhi Metro registered its highest-ever ridership with over 17 lakh people on Monday. With this,the Delhi Metro has broken its earlier June 13 record of 16.93 lakh commuters. The Delhi Metro currently has a network of over 185 km across the NCR.
