AIIMS admission racket busted

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Friday busted an admission racket at the All India Institute of Medical

Sciences (AIIMS),where answersheets of post-graduate admission test were allegedly manipulated. Nine persons have been detained in this regard.

The agency registered a case on Friday and carried out searches at 10 locations across Delhi and NCR. Police said AIIMS officials will also be examined in this regard. “We have registered a case regarding the alleged manipulation,” said CBI spokesperson Dharini Mishra. “The accused were allegedly ensuring manipulation of answersheets in exchange of bribe from candidates,” he added.

Officials said raids are being conducted to nab the accomplices of the accused and to trace the mastermind.
