The truck was carrying LPG cylinders. The accident would have been disastrous if even any of the cylinders had burst, said a police officer of the Sohna police station.
A case has been registered against the truck driver, while the dumper driver is on the run.
The particular stretch of road has witnessed many accidents recently. On March 21,seven people, including three of a family, were killed when the shared auto-rickshaw they were travelling in collided head-on with a dumper on the same road near Tavru.
The particular road has become very dangerous for commuters,as it often witnesses rash driving. We have warned violators of action; the traffic department should ensure that these drivers are penalised, the police officer said.
