Manpreet said that in February several “happy surprises” would be given to the media and several leaders were expected to join his Punjab Jago Yatra in the Doaba region. “We want only people with clean image in our movement,” said Manpreet. Asked whether he perceived any threat to his life,Manpreet said he did not. He also said he felt uncomfortable amidst security guards.

In Hoshiarpur, former Rajya Sabha member Varinder Singh Bajwa also joined Manpreet along with his supporters. Manpreet said that he is not a political party agent but an agent of change in the state.
