Shopkeeper’s son shines
Sandeep Sharma of Govt Model High School,Vikas Nagar, has secured CGPA 8.2 in . The grade secured by him may not appear to be as high but his achievement has made a lot of difference to his family. Son of a shopkeeper in Mauli Jagran village,Sandeep who lives in a hutment has secured the CGPA without any guidance or coaching. While his family members could earlier rarely understand why Sandeep would sit below the street lights and study at night, they are now able to cherish the results of his hard work.
“Initially,I used to be a little apprehensive about my preparations as I used to see all my classmates discussing their notes provided by the coaching centres. A lot many times,I even thought of requesting my father to somehow manage the finances and help me join one of these centres. But my family’s conditions never allowed me to do so. I then thought that I would prepare on my own. And I am glad that I have been able to score so well,” said Sandeep.
