Will develop 41 new sectors in urban estates; 3 in Panchkula as pilot project: Saini

CM Saini was replying to Congress MLA from Nuh, Aftab Ahmed, who had asked the government if there is any proposal under consideration of the government to allot residential plots through draw system. (Express File) Haryana government will be developing 41 new residential sectors, Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini Wednesday informed the Vidhan Sabha.
Saini was replying to Congress MLA from Nuh, Aftab Ahmed, who had asked the government if there is any proposal under consideration of the government to allot residential plots through draw system in the sectors of Haryana Shehri Vikas Pradhikaran; whether there is any proposal to develop new HSVP sectors; and if so, the time by which the work on the said proposal is likely to be stated practically.
Saini said that there was “no” proposal under consideration to allot plots through draw system in these sectors. However, he added that “HSVP plans to develop a total of 41 sectors in various urban estates in the State”.
The CM further said that the land procurement through e-bhoomi is in process. “In the first phase, Sectors 14, 16 and 22 of Kot-Behla urban complex (Panchkula) Development Plan and Sector 31 of Pinjore-Kalka Urban Complex Development Plan are to be developed as pilot projects,” he added.
In the list annexed with the CM’s reply tabled in the ongoing session of the Vidhan Sabha, it is mentioned that besides the three sectors to be developed as pilot projects in Panchkula, the other sectors that are going to be developed include – “Sector 46 (tentative) in Kurukshetra; Sector 33 (part), Sector 34 and 35 in Karnal; Sector 9 in Gharaunda, Sector 5 in Shahbad (Kurukshetra), Sector 3 in Naraingarh (Ambala); Sector 36A, 37 and 68 to 70 in Gurugram; Sector 94A, 96, 96A, 97A, 99, 101, 102, 103, 140, 141 and 142 in Faridabad, Sector 32(part) and Sector 33 in Sohna (Gurugram); Sector 3 in Farukhnagar (Gurugram), Sector 2, 3, 4 in Pataudi (Gurugram), Sector 7, 13 in Ganaur (Sonipat), Sector 19A, 40 in Panipat, Sector 26 in Hisar and Sector 1, 2, 3 (part) and 4 in Samalkha (Panipat).
