There are two things that always find place in actor Lisa Haydon’s handbag — her MP3 player and mobile phone. “Can’t do without either,” quips the model turned actor, who made her Bollywood debut with Aisha, with Abhay Deol and Sonam Kapoor, last year. Dressed in a bright blue jumper and white heels, she was in Chandigarh to endorse Nokia.

“Acting is my passion and I want to experiment with different roles,” says the actor, who is currently shooting for David Dhawan’s film Rascals with

Sanjay Dutt,Ajay Devgan and Kangana Ranaut. And though she is looking at more scripts, she has another priority, which is to master the Hindi language. “I lived in Australia and the US before I moved to India in 2006 and still can’t speak Hindi fluently,” she says, adding that before films, modelling assignments used to keep her busy.

The technology-savvy model, who intends to purchase a blue-tooth headphone soon,Haydon adds,“I see 3G as a blessing. From browsing, logging on to social networking sites, reading magazines to watching movies,I can do everything on it”. For now though, she is looking forward to visiting places in Chandigarh, about which she has heard from her sister,Ameeta, who visits the city for football tournaments. “I went to Pind Balluchi for dinner and now hope to see the greens of the city,” she signs off.
