Two more snatching incidents were reported in the city on Sunday.

Pinky Kapoor,resident of Sector 45 complained that occupants of a Pulsar motor cycle snatched away her gold chain near Sector 45-C. A case under Section 356 (assault or criminal force in attempt to commit theft of property carried by a person),379 (punishment for theft) IPC has been registered in the police station at Sector 34. The case is under investigation.

In another such incident,Anita Rani,resident of Sector 41 complained that occupants of a motor cycle snatched away her gold chain. A case has been registered at police station,Sector 39.

More than ninety nine cases of snatching have been reported since January at various police stations of Chandigarh.
