A self-confessed ‘Naradamuni’ of the show,Ayushman says that all of his antics and snap remarks are extempore. “It’s being shot in a stadium,there are six judges and their teams,and thousands in the audience. We have no script,and everything is on the spur of the moment,” and hence there’s one thing that you can’t be all the time – be diplomatic. Which means that all that you see it most of the time is true. “See,Himesh and Mika are alpha males of the competition,and both are a dramatic duo who just can’t stay quiet. They are raring to go and charge,” Ayushman lets the cat out of the bag. As for Shankar and Shaan,and the rest of the gang,they are a patient lot. “They prefer to stay away from controversy and know how to tackle people.” In the meantime,we hear that an unpredictable Mika hurls abuses at him all the time!

“I love anchoring,and this was a new challenge,so I took it,” shares the VJ who is looking forward to a bevy of shows on MTV. Does that mean more talent hunts in this part of the region? “We come to Chandigarh and Punjab because Punjabis are a volatile lot and react to situations,which makes them perfect candidates for reality shows,” feels Ayushman,a product of a talent hunt himself.

Now that he’s tried everything,what about the ultimate – acting? “That is the goal,and I’m reaching there.” Bon Voyage!
