Events will take place in various categories like: Under-12 Cadet Boys and Girls Singles,Under-15,Sub-Junior Boys and Girls Singles,Under-18,Junior Boys and Girls Singles,Under-21,Youth Boys and Girls,Men’s and Women’s Singles. Chandigarh: The Chandigarh State Carrom Association will organise 22 nd Chandigarh State Carrom Championship at St. Stephens School,Sector 45,Chandigarh from September 1 to 3. Events will be held in various events like: Mens Singles,Womens Singles,Boys Singles (Junior),Girls Singles (Junior),Boys Singles (Sub-junior) and Girls Singles (Sub-Junior). Players below the age of 18 years are eligible to take part in the championship. Interested players can submit applications/entries on prescribed proforma with Diwan Singh Aithani before August 25 at House Number 564-A,Sector 32 – A,Chandigarh,or call at 09872922514.

Basketball tourney on anvil

Chandigarh: The Chandigarh Basketball Association will conduct Youth State basketball championship from August 16 to August 19 at New Public School,Sector 18,Chandigarh. Last date for submitting the entries is August 14. Players born on or after 1.1.1996 are eligible to participate in the tournament.
