Tree plantation drive held in Sector 23

Area residents and Arun Kumar Kansal,Executive Engineer,Horticulture also planted saplings of various kinds.

The saplings were planted along the walking track in the park and close to railings of ornamental trees,medicinal plants and shrubs etc.

A total of 125 saplings were planted during the plantation in Sector 23.

The plantation drive will be carried on till August 31 and approximately 40,000 saplings are expected to be planted across the city at various locations.

This is being done to enhance the greenery of the city.
