A total of Rs 69.96 lakh (Rs 69,96,836) has been received as donation at three shrines — Sri Mata Mansa Devi in Panchkula, Sri Kali Mata Mandir in Kalka and Chandimata Mandir at Chandimandir — in the last two days.
As per details while Rs 38,48,415 donation was received on Wednesday, the rest was of the money was received at three shrines on Thursday.
Mata Mansa Devi Shrine Board takes care of all the three shrines in Panchkula. On Thursday, around 1.20 lakh devotees paid obeisance at Sri Mata Mansa Devi Shrine.
Apart from the monetary donation, devotees have also given two gold items, 50 silver items at Sri Mata Mansa Devi Shrine, two gold items at Sri Kali Mata Mandir in Kalka, Thursday. On Thursday, Haryana Chief Minister, Manohar Lal Khattar, also visited Sri Mata Mansa Devi shrine.
The Haryana CM performed a yajna and also performed kanya pujan. After this, the Chief Minister also inaugurated the blood donation awareness camp organized in the temple premises. He also interacted with the blood donors and encouraged them by pinning badges on them.
The Manta Mansa Devi Shrine Board on Thursday said,, “Rs 25,01,794 donation was received at Mata Mansa Devi shrine, Rs 5,02,647 donation was received at Sri Kali Mata Mandir in Kalka, and Rs 1,43,980 donation was received at Chandi Mata Mandir in Chandimandir.”
