Chandigarh: The deadline for companies to be set up at Rajiv Gandhi Chandigarh Technology Park ended on Saturday,with some yet to finish construction. They must now apply for extension and are likely to be fined for the delay. The firms were issued notices last year for not completing construction,fined and given an extension.

Internal evaluation faces ‘legal’ hurdle

CHANDIGARH: The PU Department of Law and UILS have opposed the planned internal evaluation. “The teachers have already fixed their schedules for summer vacations. They are likely to go abroad or to local destinations. This sudden change in schedule may impact their personal lives,” they have argued.
