St. Xavier’s students bag awards in 9th Macfair International awards

The students of St. Xavier’s Senior Secondary School,Chandigarh,brought laurels to their school by winning prizes at “The 9 th Macfair International” held at City Montessori School,Lucknow,from July 24 to 27. Those who bagged awards include Saurabh Mohan (Class X) and Ravleen Kaur (Class IX) who bagged first prize in model display; Noor Pratap Singh (Class X) and Yashoodeep Singh (Class X) won third prize in quiz and Sugosha Ganju (Class IX) and Ravleen Kaur (Class IX) won consolation prizes. A team of teachers including Dr. Deepti Chhabra,Sarita Mangla,Amanjot Singh,Michelle,Kavita Rawat,Sarita Ganju and the team leader Chandan S Patwal,who played the key role in preparing students for the prestigious event,were also honoured.

Principal Mervin West congratulated all the students and teachers. As many as 61 teams from all over the country and abroad had participated in the competition.
