Speeding Porsche collides with two scooters in Chandigarh, kills one

In a tragic accident, a man was killed while two women were injured after their scooters were allegedly hit by a rashly driven Porsche car, near the petrol pump in Sector 4 on Monday evening.

According to the police sources, the Porsche was coming from the opposite direction at an ‘excessive’ speed when it crashed into the two scooters. One scooter was being ridden by a man, while the other carried two women. The impact was severe, causing the man to lose his leg, who died at the spot, while both women sustained leg injuries.

The force of the collision caused the Porsche to skid for some distance before crashing into an electric pole, which was also damaged. One of the scooters was completely wrecked, while the front portion of the Porsche, including its front tire, was badly damaged.

Following the incident, the police seized the Porsche and detained the driver. An investigation is currently underway to determine the exact cause of the crash, and a case is being registered at the Sector 3 Police Station.
