Socially Aware

In her next film,Gori Tere Pyar Mein,Kareena Kapoor will be essaying the role of a social activist. The actor dons a simple look in the film,which is currently being shot in Mumbai.

Kapoor has played a wide range of characters including a sex worker in Chameli,a medical student in 3 Idiots,a housewife in Ra.One,and an actor who is struggling to hold on to her waning career in Heroine. This will be the first time she will be playing a social activist.

Imran Khan plays the lead,with Shraddha Kapoor playing his parallel love interest. The film is produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions.
