It has been over two months since Sippy was shot dead in a park in Sector 27 on September 20. The Chandigarh Police has not been able to solve the case. They have questioned the judge’s daughter twice so far.

Sippy’s family has created a Facebook page on which they are continuously posting pictures of the judge and her daughter. The post alleging the involvement of the judge’s family has registered more than one lakh views in two days.
Sippy’s younger brother Jippy Sidhu, who has uploaded these pictures, told Chandigarh Newsline, “We want Chandigarh Police to act quickly and solve the mystery of my brother’s murder. If we fail to get justice, we shall explore other options.”
Jippy said he had met senior officers of the UT Administration on Sunday and sought permission for a candlelight permission. “We shall carry out a candlelight procession in Chandigarh on December 13 while Sippy’s friends will carry out processions in America, Canada, New Zeland, Australia and England on the same day,” Jippy said.
The police, however, refused to divulge details of the investigation. “The family can allege and they can name anybody but we are investigating the matter. The investigation is going on in the positive direction from day one. The case will be solved soon,” said an investigating police officer.
