School boy booked for shooting obscene MMS

The crime cell had been working on the case which landed in its office when it received a CD of the MMS from an anonymous person over a month ago. The CD had obscene clipping of minors and an investigation was carried out to verify the identity of the accused.

Madhur Verma,SP City,Crime and Vigilance,said the CD had obscene picturisation of a girl. “A team from the Cyber Crime Investigation Cell had verified the case and also sought legal opinion in the case involving minors,” he said. He said the boy who had allegedly shot the MMS has been identified as one from Government Senior Secondary School in Ram Darbar. “We are registering a case under Section 67 of the IT Act and Indecent Representation of Women Act against the accused,” he added.
