Rs 5 cr grant for herbal garden

The Central government has approved setting up of a Centre of Excellence in Dravyagun and medicinal plant and decided to grant Rs 5 crore to the state government. “Under this scheme an herbal garden,museum and herbarium would be set up besides educating farmers in herbal farming. The Centre will also impart education in Dravyagun,” said Health Minister Rajeev Bindal.
