Reshuffle in UT police

In a major reshuffle of Deputy Superintendents of Chandigarh Police,several transfers were ordered on Monday with immediate effect.

DSP Jagbir Singh of Operations Cell was transferred as DSP,Sub-Division Central. DSP K I P Singh of Crime Branch was transferred to the Operations Cell.

DSP Ashwini Kumar posted with Police Security was transferred to Police Lines in Sector 26. DSP B S Negi,currently posted as DSP,Police Lines was transferred to Women and Child Support Unit. DSP K S Pannu of the Women and Child Support Unit was transferred to Police Security. A proposal has also been sent to the UT Administration for posting SP Madhur Verma as SP (City) and Incharge (Crime).
