Reflections of truth

In Greek mythology,mirrors are seen as reflecting the truth. The Chinese hang octagonal mirrors inscribed with the Pa Gua above the entry to a house,with the belief that by revealing the nature of evil by the mirror,it would drive it away. Mirrors are symbols of spiritual wisdom,knowledge and enlightenment in Tibetan Buddhism. Japanese mythology mentions how the sun goddess Amaterasu was enticed from her cave by a sacred mirror to reflect her light upon the world. The mirror is also a female,lunar,symbol and has associations with luck and superstition. In China,a mirror is a sign of harmony and happy marriage,with a broken mirror suggesting separation. In Western folklore,a broken mirror is said to bring seven years of bad luck to the person who broke it. You can tell a lot about yourself if you dream of a mirror,especially if you see your reflection. It indicates that you want to take a closer look at yourself. It also reminds you to look at a situation or circumstances from a different perspective.

If you dream:
You are looking at yourself in mirror,you will be an encouraging and helpful superior and an understanding colleague.
You look younger in the mirror then it signifies fitness and good health. But if you look older it portends that you wish to be more mature and learned or you may accept the truth of life as a wise man.
Of a broken mirror then it indicates suffering,misery or ill-health.
That you can see other people in the mirror indicates that unfair treatment will be meted out to you or your family.
Of seeing animals in the mirror,then it is a sign that your interest will be advanced by a change in circumstances.
You break a mirror; it implies that you will find it difficult to get a suitable partner.
You see your beloved in the mirror,it signifies that your love shall culminate in joyful matrimony.

How to mitigate ill-effect of A dream?
– Look at your reflection into a bowl filled with mustard oil for two minutes continuously. Immerse it in the flowing water.

– Donate white articles like sugar,milk at a place of worship.

Q: In my dream I visit many shops in a huge mall. Finally at a studio,I pick an album and glance at hundreds of beautiful photographs,paintings and my own portrait. I am puzzled. Does it convey anything?
