Red Alert

On June 10,1959,Moscow welcomed the House of Dior for the very first time. Ten trunks,120 dresses,thousands of bottles of Dior perfumes and 12 models made the trip. Years after that sensational entrance,the House of Dior has scripted a new chapter in the luxury brand’s history with Russia on July 9,2013. The historical landmark Red Square was the venue for showcase of the label’s Autumn-Winter 2013 collection by Raf Simons,Creative Director. A veiled reference to Dior history: red was a colour that Christian Dior adored.
