The Municipal Corporation (MC) has decided to re-auction the five paid parking lots that were recently auctioned at a price less than that received in the previous auction.
The auction observers had objected to the low prices that the auction had fetched. Thus,the councillors had demanded that the paid parking lots be auctioned again.
In January,the MC held an auction of five paid parking lots three in Sector 17 and one each in Sector 34 and Lake Club.
Objecting to the low bids,the auction observers had stated that since the auction was causing a loss to the MC,it should be held again.
Technical bids have been invited from the contractors. Once the contractors qualify in the technical bids,the auction will be held again.
