Riding high on a brilliant show by Rajesh,who scored four goals,Central Air Command scored an emphatic 9-2 win over Air Headquarters to claim the seventh position in the Air Force Inter-Command Hockey Championship being played at Sector 42 Sports Complex on Friday. The Central Air Command forwards showed complete dominance in the match as Air Headquarters were always on the back foot in the match.

Narendra made the opening attack for Central Air Command as he scored a filed goal in the fourth minute of the match. Displaying a superb run up to the opposition penalty area,Narendra scored the opening goal for Central Air Command. Rajesh scored his first goal of the match in the ninth minute of the match as Central Air Command earned a penalty corner and Rajesh made no mistake in scoring the second goal for Central Air Command.

AP Singh extended the leeway for Central Air Command as he scored a field goal in the 19th minute of the match making it 4-0 for CAC. Kuamr scored the first goal for Air Headquarters in the 29th minute of the match before Rajesh scored his second goal for CAC in the 32nd minute of the match. Neeraj scored the second goal for Air Headquarters in the 47th minute to decrease CAC lead but CAC forwards again took control of the match in the later stages. Sachin scored his first goal for CAC in the 48th minute before scoring his second goal in the 51st minute of the match.

Rajesh scored his third goal in the 53rd minute before scoring another goal in the 57th minute to make it 8-2 for CAC. Sachin then scored his third goal in the 66th minute of the match as CAC won the match with a margin of 9-2.
