Today, most of us have access to a camera be it through our mobile phones or otherwise. But random clicking is not something Nitin Rai Chaudhary believes in. An amateur photographer,Chaudhary likes to shoot with a purpose. I like to capture beauty in ordinary things around us,things that we often neglect to see but are truly extraordinary. I want to click images that not only connect you with people and places but also make one feel that photography is beyond random clicking, says Chaudhary. Completely self-taught,Chaudhary picked up his Nikon D90 camera two years ago and now has a collection of over 2,500 photographs and more than 3,000 fans on his Facebook page,NRC Clicks. His latest exhibition Tribute to Nature & Humanity is currently on at Books n Brew in Sector 16,Chandigarh. The collection of 42 framed photographs has been culled from Chaudharys travels to different places such as Amritsar,Udaipur,Mount Abu,Morni hills,Agra,Jaipur and Himachal Pradesh. People on the street, natural scenery, birds and animals nothing seems to miss his eye. Be it people or places, the photographer presents his own view. Today, there are many who shoot fashion and products but very few showcase nature and humanity. I want to change that, says Chaudhary.
The exhibition is on till May 15.
