A fine performance by their players helped the Panjab University Campus team to score an 11-8 win over Guru Nanak Khalsa College for Women,Ludhiana,in a match of the Panjab University Inter-College Softball (Women) Championship being played at Panjab University grounds on Tuesday.

It was a narrow encounter for both the teams as they played an attacking game. But in the end,Panjab University Campus emerged as the winners. In another match,Khalsa College for Women,Ludhiana,ended the challenge of Post Graduate Government College for Girls,Sector 11,with a 10-5 win.

In the Panjab university Inter-College Handball (Women) Tournament,Panjab University Campus team scored an one-sided 17-0 win over National College for Women,Machhiwara. Meanwhile,Ramgharia Girls College,Ludhiana,scored 18-2 win over Guru Gobind Singh Khalsa College for Women,Jhar Sahib,while Panjab University Campus team scored a 27-15 win over PG GCG,Sector 11,Chandigarh. MCM DAV College for Women,Chandigarh,also registered its first win of the championship as they defeated PG GC,Sector 11,Chandigarh,with a 14-8 margin.

Then,Dev Samaj College for Women,Chandigarh,defeated MGK MSSPE,Jhakroudi,by 17-5.
