(Representational)The Panchkula Police on Tuesday launched a special drive in the Mansa Devi area, targeting no-parking and wrong-side driving. As a result, the police issued 29 challans in a single day and impounded two vehicles that were illegally selling goods in no-parking zones.
The joint operation was conducted under the leadership of Traffic SHO Inspector Sunil Kumar and Mansa Devi SHO Inspector Bachhu Singh. During the drive, not only were violators penalised, but also two vehicles causing obstruction by selling items along the roadside in restricted areas were seized.
