Nullah to be replaced by green belt

The nullah at Khudda Lahora colony will be replaced by a green belt. The demand for it has been raised by the residents for several years. It will give the residents much-needed relief from stench and disease caused by the stagnant water and the ailments it breeds.

The decision was taken after visit of area councillor Saurabh Joshi and officials of the UT Administration,including the Chief Architect,to the area. An interaction of the officials with the area residents was held.

The residents spoke about various diseases and epidemics caused due to the drain. They were assured that a greenbelt would be developed in the area.
